Vanguard, BlackRock and State Street, among others, will be eligible to vote on Microsoft's "assessment of its bitcoin investment"
Microsoft's previous filings with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) show that the company's shareholders meeting on December 10 will vote on the "evaluation of investing in Bitcoin." Shareholders such as Vanguard, BlackRock and State Street will be eligible to vote on the proposal. According to the proposal, it is recommended that Bitcoin should be studied to hedge against inflation and other macroeconomic effects, but it is reported that Microsoft's board of directors has recommended that shareholders vote against the proposal.
