Vitalik: ETH addresses are "stateful", a key difference from "pure encryption"
Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, wrote on the X platform that thanks to zkemail, tlsnotary, anon aadhaar, etc., any form of authentication can be converted to an eth address and then inserted into other tools (e.g. multi-signature, DAO authorization...), a key difference between ETH addresses and "pure cryptography" is where the blockchain provides its value. ETH addresses can be "stateful", so details about key revocation, etc. can be abstracted.
