Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, has released his idea for an EVM upgrade, saying the new idea is to combine EVM-MAX with single instruction multiple data (SIMD) capabilities. The purpose of this scheme is to improve the performance and efficiency of the Ethereum virtual machine.
