On October 29th, according to CoinDesk, this year, digital asset trading on the Crypto.com has exploded, making the crypto exchange far more traded in North America than
Coinbase (COIN). According to The Block, Crypto.com monthly spot trading volume soared from $34 billion in July to $134 billion in September. The overall trading volume of North American cryptocurrency exchanges in September was $183 billion, of which
Coinbase processed $46 billion.
Crypto.com surpassed Coinbase for the first time in July and continued to hold the lead in October. The Block data shows that the exchange is trading at $112 billion so far this month, while the total volume of exchanges in the region is $173 billion. Kraken, the third-largest exchange, is well behind in October, trading at just under $10 billion.
A key reason for Crypto.com popularity may be the wide variety of tokens it offers. It has listed more than 378 tokens, compared to no more than 290 for Coinbase and Kraken.
