The number of employees at Circle has increased by 15% this year, adding about 137 new employees

Circle has increased its headcount by more than 15 per cent this year after revealing in January that it had secretly filed for a US IPO. A spokeswoman for Circle said the company had added 137 employees and added more than 140 jobs in areas such as business development, engineering and marketing. The company now has 882 employees and another 24 have accepted job offers. New hires include chief accounting officer Tamara Schulz and exchange business development director Pierre Carras, both of whom joined in May, according to LinkedIn accounts. Sterling Barnett, director of business development for North American and European exchange partnerships, started in April, according to LinkedIn.
