Circle plans to increase USDC stablecoin exchange fees
Circle, a New York-based stablecoin issuer, will increase exchange fees for its USDC stablecoin. Circle will charge a fee for USDC exchanges over $15 million and an additional fee for instant redemptions over $2 million per day. These fees start at 0.03% per transaction and go up to 0.1% for redemptions over $15 million.
Analysts at The Block said that Circle's fee adjustment seemed reasonable in the face of a lower interest rate environment and IPO pressure.
