Crypto wallet MetaMask developer Consensys has announced its sustainability roadmap. Consensys has built infrastructure products and services such as MetaMask, Infura, Truffle, Diligence, Besu, Teku, GNARK, DIN, and Linea, and will announce plans within a few weeks. Consensys is currently in a period of transition, is gradually decentralizing and shifting its focus to turning products into protocols, and will evolve from a company to NetworkState over time. Previously, Consensys announced a 20% layoff, involving about 160 employees, due to the macroeconomic and legal expenses of the company's long-running battle with regulators.
