Rob Habermeier, co-founder of Polkadot, proposed the Plaza system chain, which aims to integrate parallel chain functions and improve network scalability. Plaza will integrate functions such as asset issuance, smart contracts, staking, cross-chain bridging and near-zero fees into a single chain to simplify operations for users and developers. Habermeier believes that Plaza will become the center of the Polkadot network, driving the development of the entire ecosystem and heralding larger scale expansion in the future.
