FTX CEO hints that former executive Nishad Singh should continue to assist with bankruptcy cases
John Ray, who takes over as FTX's chief executive in November 2022, said the co-operation of Nishad Singh, FTX's former engineering director, in the company's bankruptcy case was "essential for creditors to maximise their recovery". Singh's lawyers filed a sentencing letter from John Ray with the US District Court for the Southern District of New York detailing the assistance the former engineering director provided in the company's Chapter 11 case. John Ray said an agreement was being reached between Nishad Singh and the debtor requiring the former FTX engineering director to "provide ongoing co-operation", which could include his testimony in bankruptcy court and "finding and recovering assets".
