ZetaChain: An update rolled out to a small number of validators caused a consensus glitch
On November 1st, the ZetaChain status page updated that the cause of the network outage has been identified due to an update rolled out to some validators that caused the consensus failure. We believe that the root cause of this consensus failure has been identified and will provide a more detailed root cause update after the issue is reproduced on the development network. The current priority is to restore the normal operation of the network. We have rolled back the managed validators to the v20.0.5 version of the Node software and are asking community members to do the same. Most members in the community have completed this operation, and about 60% of validators are using the correct version of the software.
