Pre-election "shutdown" poll shows Harris leading Trump by 4 percentage points
On November 5, a poll released by NPR, PBS, and Marist Poll showed that US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Harris leads Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump by 4 percentage points nationwide. Harris received the support of 51% of likely voters, while Trump's approval rating was 47%, just outside the 3.5% margin of error. This result is very similar to that of four years ago. The 2020 poll results show that Biden's approval rating is 51%, while Trump's approval rating is 47%, and Trump is also 4 percentage points behind.
