Voting in the Gwinnett County election in Georgia is expected to exceed the 2020 total

Election officials in Gwinnett County, Georgia, said turnout for this election is expected to exceed the total turnout for 2020. As of 10:30 a.m. ET, nearly 35,000 voters had cast ballots, and county officials expect 95,000 votes on Election Day, matching the 2020 vote total. Historical data shows that 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. is the busiest time to vote in the county, and election officials believe it will be the same this year. "Voting is running smoothly and there are no security concerns at this time," said Zach Manniford, director of elections.
