Other people familiar with the matter said that Dan Gallagher, legal director of Robinhood Markets Inc., current Securities Exchange Commission commissioner Mark Uyeda and former Commodity Futures Trading Commission chairperson Heath Tarbert are also being considered. Also competing are former Securities Exchange Commission commissioner Paul Atkins and law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher partner Robert Stebbins, according to people familiar with the matter.
