"Any Republican senator who wants to secure the coveted leadership of the United States Senate must agree to a recess appointment [within the Senate] or we will not be able to confirm in a timely manner," Trump said on the X platform. "Sometimes voting can take two years or more. They did that four years ago and we cannot let that happen again. We need to fill positions immediately! Also, no judges should be approved during this period because Democrats want to pass their judges while Republicans fight for leadership. This is unacceptable."
