PwC: Expect FTX International customers to receive claims of 119 to 143 cents per dollar
According to the official email, FTX liquidator PwC has issued an update on the liquidation process, in which FTX or FTX International customers (Dotcom customers) have the right to file claims in the Bahamas or US proceedings. At this stage, Dotcom customers expect to receive claims of 119 to 143 cents per dollar if the bankruptcy protection plan is approved.
For clients who have filed a Proof of Debt claim in the Bahamas process, FTX will send a letter in the future to confirm whether the client wishes to continue to administer, process, adjudicate and resolve the claim in the Bahamas. For clients who have not yet filed a Proof Debt claim in the Bahamas process, the deadline is available to file a claim, currently expected to be mid-August 2024. Additionally, FTX will confirm the date and next steps in writing following the court's approval of the bankruptcy protection debtor reorganization plan, with a scheduled hearing date of June 25, 2024 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
