Informed sources: Trump's transportation secretary candidates include Uber executives, Fox News hosts
Trump's transition team is considering a former Uber executive and three current or former Republican members of Congress, one of whom is now a Fox News host, to lead the U.S. Department of Transportation, according to eight people familiar with the matter. Emil Michael, a Trump donor and tech entrepreneur with social connections to Elon Musk and a former Uber executive, has emerged as a leading contender, the three sources said. Seven sources said other candidates include Missouri House Rep. Sam Graves, chairperson of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, outgoing Louisiana Republican Rep. Garret Graves, and former Wisconsin Rep. Sean Duffy, now a Fox News host.
