Hong Kong Cyberport Web3 Blockchain Companies Grow to Over 270
The Hong Kong Cyberport, a government-owned and operated business hub, has added more than 120 new businesses in 16 months and now has more than 270 blockchain-related businesses. The founders of these 270-plus businesses come from more than 20 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom and India, in addition to Hong Kong and the mainland.
According to the Legislative Council report, Cyberport Web3 has started to apply blockchain technology to real-world applications, including smart living, digital entertainment, fintech, and network and data security. In addition, Cyberport is actively recruiting companies specializing in blockchain security, asset custody, and crypto wallets to facilitate collaboration among various Web3 companies within its network.
