Traders predict a 60% chance that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in December.
Adam Button, an analyst at financial website Forexlive, said the Fed's meeting notes sent a consistent message about gradually adjusting policy, with only "a few" officials talking about a pause. Traders expect a 59.6% chance that the Fed will cut rates by 25 basis points at next month's meeting, up from 52.3% on Monday but little changed from 58.9% a week ago, according to CME Watch.
