Between January and October 2024, the Indonesian cryptocurrency market traded more than $30 billion, a 350% year-on-year increase and the highest total since the 2021 bull market. According to Chainalysis' Global Cryptocurrency Adoption Index, Indonesia and Oceania/Asia continue to be the regions with the highest cryptocurrency adoption rates globally, with seven of the top 10 countries coming from the region.
