Jupiter will launch $700 million of JUP tokens over the next two years, for a total of $1.40 billion

The Solana ecosystem DEX Jupiter community passed a new round of airdrop proposals with 87% support, and will release $700 million of JUP tokens in the next two years, totaling $1.40 billion. This proposal makes a number of adjustments to the original plan, including allocating unclaimed JUP tokens to the ASR (Coin Holding Incentive) reward pool, giving priority to pledged users, and strengthening anti-robot measures. Voting data shows that out of a total of 360 million votes, about 313 million voted in favor of the proposal. The new proposal will focus on actual players in the ecosystem, taking into account key metrics such as user position, engagement and usage frequency. The proposal is Jupiter's second attempt to launch a new round of airdrops, after the first proposal failed to pass. The voting started on December 4 and ended on the 8th.
