President Biden: Plan to continue participating in party activities after leaving office
On December 15 local time, US President Biden said at the Democratic National Committee's holiday banquet that he intends to continue participating in party activities after leaving office on January 20 next year.
Biden also predicted that Vice President Harris will continue to be a central figure in the future of the Democratic Party. Harris said she will soon begin to seriously consider her future and whether to run for president again.
It is reported that donors of all political persuasions contributed about $4.70 billion in the 2024 US Presidential Election. Of that, Democrats and their coalition's super PACs and other groups raised about $2.90 billion, and Republicans raised about $1.80 billion. Harris noted that Democrats raised $700 million in 700 fundraisers. (Kim X)
