On December 17, Monad announced on Twitter that it would establish the Monad Foundation: "We are very pleased to announce the establishment of the Monad Foundation, which is an important step towards further decentralization of the Monad protocol and ecosystem. The Foundation's mission is to promote the growth and adoption of the Monad protocol, a decentralized, permissionless network with numerous independent global contributors."
