Nirvana, an algorithmic stablecoin protocol previously attacked by security engineers, is open for claims and will launch Nirvana V2.
Nirvana Finance, the Solana ecosystem algorithm stablecoin protocol, said that it has opened claims and will launch Nirvana V2 at 2:00 on December 18, allowing original ANA holders to experience the application first.
Previous news: In July 2022, hacker Shakeeb Ahmed stole about $3.50 million in stablecoins by manipulating the protocol's pricing mechanism. After working with the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, and the IRS, Nirvana successfully recovered the stolen funds, and Ahmed was sentenced to three years in prison, while he was required to return the cryptocurrency and pay $3.40 million in restitution.
