Remote, a US compliance HR technology service provider, has announced a partnership with Stripe to allow US companies it serves to use USDC to pay salaries to contract employees in 69 countries. The feature initially supports Coinbase's L2 blockchain, Base, and is available to US customers. Contract employees simply choose a new withdrawal method and add their Base web wallet address to receive payments at USDC, while their employers settle in US dollars.
