According to Onchain data, former traditional financial trader Richard E. Ptardio received 700 million memecoin PTARDIO tokens, which appear to have originated from the memecoin startup platform Pump.fun. Ptardio shared a screenshot of his PTARDIO holdings, which grew to around $54,000 and $995,000 as PTARDIO rose. Ptardio decided to donate his PTARDIO holdings. Ptardio said: "Whoever created the token did so entirely without my knowledge or consent. Therefore, I wish to exit the project immediately and I will sell them and donate all proceeds to Save the Children. I think this is a better use of the funds."
