Changpeng Zhao, co-founder of Binance, had previously reposted a media release on the X platform that the UAE held $40 billion worth of bitcoin. Later, someone in the community questioned the data and thought that the relevant report looked like an AI-generated article. In response, Changpeng Zhao said: "I also want to know how they came to this exact number. It is difficult to collect the relevant data. It is higher than I expected, but then again, there are a lot of rich people there [in the UAE]."
