BNB Chain Releases 2024 Annual Report: BSC TVL Grows 58.2% to $5.50 billion, OpBNB Average Daily Active Users Reach 4.70 million
BNB Chain released the 2024 annual report, including the latest progress and data on ecology and technology. The report shows that in 2024, BNB Chain continues to advance One BNB's multi-chain development strategy, namely BSC + opBNB + Greenfield, opBNB realizes the breakthrough expansion capability of 4600 TPS per second and 100 million Gas Limit per second, and introduces parallel EVM; storage chain Greenfield launches important updates such as Hulunbeier, Ural and Pawnee, and launches Greendrive, which now supports more than 30 public datasets and improves the user interface.
In terms of ecology, the average daily active users of opBNB reached 4.70 million, the BSC reached 1.12 million, and the number of BSC independent addresses increased by 17.7% to 486 million compared with last year. The total locked position (TVL) increased by 58.2% to 5.50 billion US dollars, and the TVL of opBNB increased by 27.6% to 19.20 million US dollars.
In terms of the number of transactions, the average daily transaction number of BSC 4 million, an increase of 2.5%; the average daily transaction volume of opBNB reached 7.10 million, and the fee was as low as $0.001.
In terms of security, the number of security incidents in BNB Chain decreased by 66% compared to last year, and the amount of risk loss decreased by 67% (from $162 million to $53 million).
