Maple Finance Predictions: Bitcoin Will Reach $18- $200,000 by the End of the Year, But Crypto Remains Cyclical
According to CNBC, Sid Powell, co-founder and CEO of centralized financial platform Maple Finance, said that by the end of 2025, the price of bitcoin will reach between 180,000 and 200,000 dollars.
In an interview with CNBC's Squawk Box Europe, Powell said: "If you look at history, when gold ETFs came out, inflows increased dramatically in the years after the first year of listing, and I think we can expect that to happen with bitcoin ETFs as well. As bitcoin and cryptocurrencies become core asset allocations for institutional asset managers, we will see more inflows in the coming years.
Powell believes that another factor driving the price of bitcoin is the expectation of the strategic reserve of bitcoin in the United States. Nonetheless, Powell remains wary of a market correction. "I think a correction will still occur, and cryptocurrencies are still a cyclical industry."
