Wormhole announced that the Karak Network, a universal re-staking layer, is integrating Wormhole as its first distributed security service (DSS). Wormhole is developing two key distributed security services (DSS) on Karak: a decentralized validator network for Wormhole native token transfer (NTT), and a decentralized relay network. Both will leverage re-staked assets to enhance economic security. Distributed Security Service (DSS) is a decentralized software service built on top of Karak that leverages re-pledged assets to provide additional economic security and scalability for supported services.
