It is rumored that Musk is a potential buyer of Intel, but Citi is not optimistic about it

On January 18th, according to the US technology media SemiAccurate, the media confirmed through multiple sources that a mysterious company intends to acquire Intel (INTC. O) as a whole. Affected by this news, Intel's share price rose by more than 9% on Friday. According to the latest report from investment community Seeking Alpha, Citigroup analysts read the paid report and said in a report sent to clients that "SemiAccurate paid report mentions Musk as a potential buyer". However, Citi analysts are not optimistic about Musk's acquisition of Intel. He wrote in the report that this is a "bad outcome" for Intel, unless Intel can hire a CEO who can exit the commercial foundry business and has three qualifications: advanced manufacturing experience, technical acumen and Intel experience.
