Opinion: Trump uses the US presidency to make money like never before

US President-elect Donald Trump and his family on Friday began selling a cryptocurrency token bearing Trump's image from last July's assassination in a potentially lucrative new venture, but ethics experts have slammed it as a blatant attempt to cash in on the chance to be president again. Adav Noti, executive director of the Campaign Legal Centre, a non-profit ethics organisation, said: "This is actually using the presidency to make money - creating a financial instrument that allows people to transfer money to the president's family through the office of the president, which has never been done before."
