The Washington Post: After Trump's inauguration, the US Department of Government Efficiency will be indicted

On January 20th, according to the Washington Post, a lawsuit against the billionaire Elon Musk-led Department of Government Effectiveness for violating federal transparency rules is expected to be filed within minutes of the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump, opening a legal battle against key aspects of the incoming US government's agenda. In a 30-page complaint obtained before it was filed, the public interest law firm National Security Advisor alleges that the non-governmental DOGE panel violated a 1972 law that requires advisory boards advising the executive branch to follow certain rules regarding disclosure, hiring and other practices.
