Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered, said inflows from institutional investors could drive up the price of bitcoin and ethereum, which are expected to reach $200,000 and $10,000, respectively, by the end of 2025. He expects institutional inflows into bitcoin in 2025 to exceed 2024 levels, with new money likely to come from long-term investment funds such as pension funds. At the same time, he pointed out that institutional inflows could dampen the strength of the small coin season.
