Poland overtakes El Salvador in the number of bitcoin ATMs worldwide

Poland added 10 bitcoin ATMs on January 27, bringing its total number of active machines to 219, surpassing El Salvador to become the world's fifth-largest cryptocurrency ATM network after the United States, Canada, Australia, and Spain. Poland has added 24 cryptocurrency ATMs in a four-month installation boom that began in October 2024. According to Bitcoin ATM Radar, the number of locally active cryptocurrency ATMs in many other countries, including current leaders Canada, Spain, and Australia, continues to rise month-on-month.
