Apple pushes software update that will enable artificial intelligence by default
Apple on Monday released software updates for iPhone, iPads and Macs that enable Apple Intelligence by default for devices that support Apple's artificial intelligence. These updates include iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3 and macOS Sequoia 15.3, as well as disabling AI summaries in the News app for distorting news feed notifications and generating fake summaries. Apple Intelligence is still in official beta and is only available in a few English-speaking countries. Enabling artificial intelligence by default marks a new step on the road to a full-scale rollout of Apple Intelligence.
