Canadian technology company Matador announced an increase of 3.38 BTC at a price of CAD 500,000 (US $347,022), with an average price of $102,703. Following the acquisition, Matador currently holds approximately 64.69 BTC (and Bitcoin equivalents) and plans to acquire $350,000 worth of BTC in the near future. In addition, Matador announced that it also holds cash reserves of approximately 2.30 million CAD and 2 kilograms of physical gold (approximately 264,000 CAD). At the same time, it revealed that it plans to combine the tangible value of physical gold with Bitcoin blockchain technology to launch digital gold products in the first quarter of 2025.
