Satoshi Action Fund: Utah Could Become the First US State to Build Bitcoin Reserves
Utah could become the first state in the US to establish a bitcoin reserve because of its short legislative window and "political momentum".
Dennis Porter, CEO of the Satoshi Action Fund, said in an interview with U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis on February 2 that Utah has a good chance of becoming the first state in the United States to establish a bitcoin reserve because they only have 45 days to make a decision.
"Make it or lose it in 45 days," Mr. Porte said in a January 21 interview. "No other state has less time to legislate and no other state has more political momentum and determination to get this done."
