Semler said in a Feb. 4 press release that it bought 871 bitcoins for a total of $88.50 million between Jan. 11 and Feb. 3, with an average purchase price of $101,616 per BTC. The company also reported a total yield of 152% from July 1 (the first full quarter after adopting a bitcoin funding strategy) to February 3. The company notes that the year-to-date yield is 22%.
