The acting chairperson of the CFTC has attacked the resistance of the prediction market under the previous leadership

Caroline Pham, acting chair of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), said the commission has gone too far in its fight against prediction markets and that overturning its rules, orders and court arguments would take a lot of energy. Pam, who was appointed by President Donald Trump to run the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), has been moving quickly to overturn the policy positions of the previous Democratic leadership of the derivatives regulator. The CFTC will soon schedule an expert roundtable to begin work on restarting the agency's stance on prediction markets.
