CoinGecko analysis report: publicly traded blockchain companies account for only 5.8% of the total crypto market capitalization.
According to crowdfundinsider, the latest analysis by CoinGecko shows that the total market capitalization of publicly traded blockchain companies in the world is 199.50 billion dollars, accounting for only 5.8% of the total market capitalization of the 3.45 trillion dollar crypto market. Among them, the largest publicly traded blockchain company is the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, which has a market capitalization of up to 74 billion dollars.
The report notes that there are currently 46 notable publicly traded blockchain companies, most of which are listed on the Nasdaq exchange. In terms of industry distribution, these companies are divided into five main sectors: cryptocurrency mining, exchanges, finance and investment, technology, and others. Among them, cryptocurrency mining is the leading sector, with a total of 25 companies engaged in this type of business, including Mara Holdings, Core Scientific, and Riot Blockchain.
