On February 12, Channel 4 launched a new documentary about Satoshi Nakamoto, "Seeking Satoshi: The Mystery Bitcoin Creator", in an attempt to reveal his true identity. The executive producer of the film said it was a "surreal exploration aimed at exposing the potential conspiracy of a group of Silicon Valley power brokers to undermine democracy". The show will debut on YouTube on Monday, February 17. Previously, HBO released a documentary about Satoshi Nakamoto, "Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery", claiming that BTC Core developer Peter Todd was Satoshi Nakamoto. Todd flatly denied this, and venture capitalist Adam Cochran accused HBO of "garbage coverage".
