Wintermute will establish an office in New York and will focus on expanding its OTC and derivatives business

Crypto market maker Wintermute plans to enter the US market. CEO Evgeny Gaevoy said the company will open an office in New York in 2025, initially with 5-10 employees mainly responsible for business development. Gaevoy is bullish on the Trump administration's cryptocurrency policy prospects, expecting multiple regulatory charges against crypto protocols to be dropped. He revealed that the company will focus on expanding its business over the counter (OTC) and derivatives, but the new office will not open trading business.
