Czech Central Bank Governor: Bitcoin should not be confused with other cryptoassets

In a post on social media, AlešMichl, the head of the Czech National Bank, said investors should be extra careful if they intend to invest in crypto assets. The market is still in its infancy and will experience a certain degree of ups and downs. Investors are advised to invest only in assets that they understand and are willing to bear the risk of losing all of them. Bitcoin, however, is another matter. It should not be confused with other crypto assets. Central banks should study it and explore the technology behind it. Studying Bitcoin will not do us any harm - on the contrary, it will make us stronger.
