Among them, Flashblocks technology has been launched on the Base Sepolia testnet, reducing the block confirmation time from 2 seconds to 200 milliseconds, making it the fastest EVM chain. In addition, Base also launched Base Appchains (L3 chain) to provide dedicated block space for high-traffic applications and improve scalability. At the same time, Base introduced Smart Wallet Sub Accounts to optimize the user experience, reduce the number of transaction signatures, and provide more secure account management. Base plans to launch Flashblocks and Sub Accounts to the mainnet in Q2.
