Coinbase software engineer: If Democrats want to gain enough votes, they must quickly change their attitude towards cryptocurrencies

Yuga.eth, a senior software engineer at Coinbase, said in a social media post that with the Democratic Party in disarray, we are approaching the moment when cryptocurrencies have the greatest political influence in the United States. Democrats have been misled by Elizabeth Warren and others into waging an unpopular and unproductive war on cryptocurrencies that will cost them thousands of votes in key swing states. If the Democrats are serious about getting enough votes to avoid a fiasco in November, they must quickly and radically change their approach to cryptocurrencies. They should immediately stop the enforcement regulation strategy, improve and pass FIT 21 in a bipartisan manner, and revoke SAB121. Instead, the pro-cryptocurrency PACs should use this moment to put pressure on Democratic political leaders and policymakers by securing commitments to promote financial innovation in the United States.
