On March 2nd, BYD and DJI jointly held a smart car drone system conference in Shenzhen. Wang Chuanfu, chairperson and president of BYD Group, gave a speech. At the meeting, Wang Chuanfu announced that the smart car drone system jointly developed by BYD and DJI was officially named "Lingyuan". Regarding the drone technology solution, Wang Chuanfu said that BYD has been exploring and trying internally since 2016. Wang Chuanfu also mentioned that after BYD and DJI's dual technical testing and a series of safety certifications, "Lingyuan" has achieved mass production, which also makes BYD the first car company in the world to mass-produce car drones.
