ApeChain announced that it will support zero-knowledge proof verification
ApeChain, built on behalf of the ApeCoin DAO, will now be able to support efficient, low-cost zero-knowledge proof verification. The Jenkins testnet under the blockchain has integrated zkVerify, a modular protocol optimized for zero-knowledge proof verification developed by Horizen Labs. Developers will be able to take advantage of zkVerify's zero-knowledge proof verification technology to optimize transaction processing and reduce proof verification costs by more than 90%. ApeChain was announced in February 2024 by the ApeCoin DAO, the decentralized autonomous organization behind ApeCoin (APE), and uses ApeCoin as an ERC-20 governance and utility token in the APE ecosystem.
