The Securities Exchange Commission's (SEC) Cryptocurrency Task Force announced after its first roundtable that it will hold four more meetings in the first half of this year to engage in in-depth discussions on topics such as crypto trading, custody, on-chain and decentralized finance. The timing and topics of the four meetings are: "Between Blocks and Regulation: Tailoring Rules for Crypto Trading" on April 11, "Know Your Custodian: Key Considerations for Crypto Asset Custody" on April 25, "On-Chain: The Intersection of Traditional Finance and DeFi" on May 12, and "DeFi and the American Spirit" on June 6. "These roundtables allow us to hear from experts, identify regulatory challenges and explore the SEC's response," said Commissioner Hester M. Peirce, who heads the task force. All roundtables will be broadcast live to the public.
