Goldman Sachs cuts U.S. growth forecast, raises recession forecast
Goldman Sachs: Downgraded the US GDP growth forecast for the fourth quarter of 2025 to 0.5% and raised the probability of a 12-month recession from 35% to 45%, due to sharply tightening financial conditions, foreign consumer boycotts, and continued spikes in policy uncertainty, which may restrain capital spending by more than we previously assumed.
