Binance and Worldpay partner to launch Apple Pay and Google Pay payment capabilities

On April 7, Binance announced a strategic cooperation with Worldpay, a global payment technology giant, to support users to purchase cryptocurrencies through Apple Pay and Google Pay from now on. Users now only need to bind a credit or debit card in Apple Pay or Google Pay, and can directly purchase cryptocurrencies with fiat currency on the Binance App or official website to enjoy a smoother transaction experience. Thomas Gregory, vice-president of Binance's fiat business, said: "Worldpay is one of the world's leading e-commerce payment companies, and partnering with it to bring Apple Pay and Google Pay to the Binance platform will help us provide users with more diverse payment options and greater convenience." Nabil Manji, head of fintech growth and financial partnerships at Worldpay, added: "Digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay have become the preferred payment method for users around the world. Through this partnership, we are excited to work with Binance to provide users with more convenient access to cryptocurrency purchases, further lowering the barrier to entry into the crypto world and enhancing the overall user experience."
